The business idea is to establish a restaurant named GMF restaurant and it is situated in London, UK. The business provides a variety of goods and services to their customers. Also, the restaurant mainly focuses on delivering quality based food services that attract a large number of customers towards their goods or products (Chen, et. al., 2017). The Unique value proposition of the GMF restaurant is to provide constant quality of the food which is served quickly and consistently around the world. The main targeted customers are youngsters, elder people, business people and families.

2. Business description

GMF restaurant mainly focuses on offering quality based products and food items to their potential clients. The core secret of the business is to provide quality and required food items to the customers to fulfil their needs and wants. Also, business leaders are communicating with their staff members and motivate them to perform work in reaching with desired goals. The restaurant culture is the same as the personality of an individual, two people are not alike and it is impossible to duplicate (Ma, et. al., 2019). To gain sustainable competitive advantage, GMF restaurant needs to select a highly visible area that has potential nearby customers’ base. This business idea is effectively related to the passion and goals as this will help in increasing growth and goodwill in a large market place.

GMF design and develop demanding products and services by analysing customers’ choices or preferences so that such products can satisfy customers want. Along with this, the business needs to match the products and services to the current market needs and desires in a proper manner. To develop an idea, it is necessary for GMF restaurant is to focus on adopting the latest technology which helps in forming demanding products. The passion is also required for starting the business (Tran, et. al., 2019). If the business gains success then this will directly impact and contribute towards increasing growth and development level of the restaurant.

The competition in the market is very tough as other restaurants like ASD cafe and WER restaurant are the biggest competitor for GMF restaurant. The GMF restaurant is competing with the competitors in the market with great possibility for quality food products and services for the consumers. The competition is tough but GMF restaurant is dealing it with providing the best quality experiences and quality products and services for the customers which are helping in coping in the competitive market place. The GMF restaurant is different from the other competition places that are not targeting on the quality of the services being provided for the customers (Abbasi, et. al., 2018).  GMF restaurant is differentiating from other business organisations in the market in such a way that the customers are getting attracted from the variety of services provided such as lunch, dinner, or breakfast with complimentary beverages on the choice of customers. This has created a special place for GMF restaurant in the market place. The market analysis has shown the possibilities for GMF restaurant as the specialities and great service is differentiating GMF from other business organisations in the market place where various related business organisations are competing against GMF restaurant.

5. Marketing plan

The targeted customers for the GMF restaurant are families; younger generations, business people or elderly are the major target as the customers for GMF restaurant. There are various ways in which the targeted customers can access or reach the products and services are provided by the GMF restaurant. The GMF restaurant is having a physical branch in London which provides the customers to gain access to products and services from the restaurant. The online food delivery services are also provided by the GMF restaurant which is highly demanded by the younger generations and elderly people who have difficulties in getting to a branch location. There are also telephonic services available for targeted customers (Emike, et. al., 2020). The GMF restaurant targets the customers through various means of communication to attract and acquire a great range of customers like social media, pamphlets, newspaper advertisements, magazine articles or journals. These methods are used for acquiring targeted customers as these are the closely used methods by the customers such as younger generation is highly influenced by the social media platforms which can create a great opportunity for the GMF restaurant to attract a large number of customers from the targeted customer base for the GMF restaurant.

6. Financial/operational plan

It is important for an organisation is to manage and maintain a financial or operational plan that helps in enhancing the success level. The metric which is required to gain success of their products or success is revenue (Cajiao, et. al., 2016). If a manager charges for the product separately so that revenue will be KPI to measure and evaluate success and its impact on business growth. Revenue is an important metric which is used to manage and arrange all the necessary things such as workers, technology, materials and so more. The revenue is an essential part of any business as through which they can smoothly operate and regulate the business functions and its activities in the market area. GMF restaurant make money by serving the best quality of food items to its customers and fulfil their all needs. The business diversity and grow revenue stream in different ways such as offer complimentary product, self-knowledge, provides complimentary services and provide Membership program to the client (Hall, et. al., 2016). The operational plan of a restaurant should be arranged in a systematical manner which smoothly regulates management functions and effectively served required food services to the customers. Manager of the restaurant needs to hire skilled and experienced staff so that they can easily understand their role in a better manner.

Creativity is a challenge which is very innovative and experimental for a person to conduct on themselves. It will increase the levels of passion, courage and colourful profile of a person. I practice creativity on multiple levels of personal development which provides me with a great range of self-confidence and increases well-rounded profile characteristics which are very attractive for any company profile. The creativity is an experiment which induces changes in the routine working criteria and enhances the development of new ways for doing the routines. This will develop a creative environment and positivity for self-development in my personality (Brooks, et. al., 2016). I can develop the challenge of creativity in my personality which is attractive for many organisations as creativity can develop the organisational culture into passionate and courageously from the creative approach of dealing with the work culture. The creativity challenge induces a high amount of experiment imagination and passion in me which makes me do things that can be done in a better way with the touch of a little creativity.

Hard work becomes easier and more desirable when creativity is involved in the personality of the person. The challenge of creativity is the best example for making smart working process which involves the passion, colourful creation, courage and self-development at the same time. Sometimes creativity cannot provide the expected results but it always provides results which are most enhanced and passionate for self-development in a person. These qualities are very much demanded by large organisations where creativity can be given a proper platform for a person to showcase their talent in handling various matters through their creative mentality and covert the disasters into beautiful opportunities (Lalloo, et. al., 2019). This challenge has provided me with self-acknowledgement and inner change which helps in developing new things in life to show my creativity which is much needed in this modern age world.

2. The second challenge was chosen

Another challenge which has greatly impactful and enhanced effect on personal life is risk-taking. This challenge has provided me with seeing the things different in difficult situations. The challenge is all about overcoming your fear of taking risks which can impact on the results of not getting the desired outcomes for a process but the process will teach or shows variations of life to develop a better personality to changes in life. The risk-taking is a necessary step which teaches us the courage to take difficult steps in life or any working process. Risk-taking can be advantageous or disadvantageous but the process always shows some outcomes which become important lessons of personal strength of life in an individual (Russell, et. al., 2016). The risk-taking develops courage, passion and innovation in an individual which is demanded in the candidates by various large organisations. The person who is allowing him to take risks in different situations is courageous to handle the adverse conditions of risk-taking which can become the permanent outcome for the process.

The risk-taking is an example of developing a great personality by overcoming fears of failure and other aspects of life. The risk-taking personality is also important in the personal life of the candidates which helps the person in various ways. The person who takes the challenge of risk-taking can overcome any kind of situation in the working life, personal life or organisational working which becomes easier for them to taking over the fears of not getting the desired outcomes from the situations of risks but they can change the situations from unfavourable to favourable by innovative and experimental challenges in their life (Sokyes, et. al., 2018). This challenge is very important in preaching various aspects of challenges in the life of a person who is desired by many organisations.

During the lecture class, I have learned different things which help me in providing new insights, lessons and perspectives.

  1. The first lecture is Introduction to the module in which I have analysed what I have learned during the module. This will help me in understanding the new ideas and concepts and how can I apply important thing in my real life.
  2. During this lecture, I have learned and understood disruption and future imagination or creativity skills which assist me in enhancing my work efficiency. This skill also helps me in my future career (Bennett-Levy, et. al., 2018).
  3. I have learned about how to resolve analytical problems and design creativity for an organisation which increase benefit to a firm. This will also develop my capability to solve any personal issue as well.
  4. During this lecture, I have understood how to build an effective team and perform teamwork which enhances their ability. It helps me in developing confidence and I have effectively manage the team in a better manner.
  5. I have also learnt the cross-culture concept that is important for the company in understanding their different background of customers’ needs and wants. As an employee, this will assist me in evaluating the desired clients’ preferences.
  6. I have learned in the class that how to design creativity and review some biggest names in the landscape of creativity, business and entertainment.
  7. Another thing which I have learned in the class is how to improvise in the live workshops that help increase skills.
  8. The tutor also lessoned that how to gain valuable life strategies for escaping boredom in which I need to do some creative and entertain myself. This will increase my confidence and I learned a new thing as well.
  9. Virtual lectures help in gaining knowledge and enhancing the learning skills that assist me in doing my studies (Sangwan, et. al., 2017).
  10. I have learned in the lecture regarding the futurist workshop that is designed for self-study and in which a person can think about their future.

There are different things which I would like to change and improved in my life as of this module that is described as follows:

  1. I would like to improve my problem-solving skill in which I need to first analyse the basis of a specific issue and after that work on resolving such.
  2. I need to mainly focus on change my team working style and listen to their issues so they can properly perform their work on time.
  3. I should improve my creativity and innovative working style as well so that I can perform great work (Rijal, 2018).
  4. I need to concentrate on improving my management skill and develop in such a way that helps me to lead the company in the right direction.
  5. Because of this module, I want to change my learning style and mostly I should learn from the online platform which easy to understand.
  6. I require changing my behaviour and attitude so that I can work at any place and develop coordinate with my team members.
  7. I should improve my creativity skill as it helps in gaining new insights and perspective to perform work.
  8. I should focus on the futurist workshop that helps me in analysing future related issues and problems and I can develop the required solution regarding such.
  9. I require improving my skills and capability as per the situation which is useful for my future growth (Hasan, et. al., 2019).
  10. It is important for me is to changes innovative actions that lead to higher success.
