This report discusses the quality, risk and procurement and strategies for reducing the uncertainties to gain effective results in the project. The objectives and challenges of QRP management plan will be discussed in the project report. The report discusses the case project with the help of risk opportunities, challenges, uncertainties and stakeholders and the impact of these factors on the project plan. The key factors of control management process will be identified and help in providing factors for successful delivery. The goals of the project in terms of different targets like financial, environmental and informational targets are attained with the help of a tool of QRP management. The problem of the redevelopment of Star Casino on Pyrmont will be solved with the help of QRP management plan will be discussed in the report and the risks in a project which are social risk and ecological risk.

Identification and assessment of case project

The height of Star Casino in Pyrmont is going to be enhanced by 237 meters in the redevelopment process. The project is being focused on the redevelopment of the hotel into a highly luxurious apartment in Pyrmont. The building is being reconstructed in terms of the building is higher than the previous building in this project. There are different kinds of environmental concerns is arising against the project redevelopment and not fulfilling laws. The independent planning commission of the New South Wales government needs to approve the project for operating the redevelopment of the casino project. The project comes under the construction industry where the casino will be redeveloped into renovating it as a building in a proposal which will be tall and highly luxurious residential apartments (Estes, 2016). The project of redevelopment of a casino will adversely affect the Pyrmont because of the construction industry’s involvement in isolation and inconsistency about the surrounding neighborhood. The project will enable the view of developing site by 8 times because of maximizing height of site which will be undermined by the community.

In the execution of the project, there will be multiple challenges. The independent planning commission stated the negative impact of the redevelopment of the Star Casino Lord Mayor Clover Moore will have on the society. It is impossible to build a building with 237-metre height on the proposed site. The community of surroundings will be affected in its vision because of this project. The project will face legal issues and challenges for not fulfilling the 3Apart of the Environmental Planning and Assessment act in planning and project terms (Langston, et. al., 2016).

Ecological and social risks are mainly involved in the project. Environmental health will suffer because of the adverse effect of risks in the redevelopment of the project. This building will create a large shadow in the other parts of the locality which is not appreciated by the people. The star casino is the only tall building in the locality so there is no requirement for this redevelopment project.

The redevelopment of Star Casino will adopt the Quality, Risk and Procurement management in planning, environmental and industrial activities. The NSW planning system’s credibility will be undermined by the QRP plan and development controlled with local people.
